L's birthday is in January so I am thinking ahead to both his birthday and containing all the new toys he received for Christmas and will receive next month. Any recs for toy boxes?
Thanks!

I prefer baskets because I can carry them around to toss toys into during clean up, and she can get into them easily.

@Silva: we have a big basket on each floor, so I was thinking about a big, central box mostly to hold toys "out of rotation"

We have this and we really like it. At one time the baskets had a photograph of what was supposed to go inside taped on the front. We'll probably implement that again soon, but Ellie is so literal that it didn't work as well for her because sometimes she would get stuck on the fact that there was no picture of a particular item on the right bucket. The baskets up top contain things that don't get rotated: dollhouse furniture and accessories, and our wooden train set, and AG Doll stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions! Thinking there's probably a trip to ikea (1.5 hrs away) in our future...
