My DH really wants to get our DD a ride on electric car for Christmas, but doesn't know which one to get. We want a two seater, and my husband wants it to be remote controlled so that he can steer it until she's a little older (she will be 22 months at Christmas). Any recommendations?

My ILs got LO a car like this with the remote control for his first Christmas. They got it at Walmart but I don't see the exact one on their website anymore since it was two years ago. We have been happy with it but it hasn't got a ton of use so I can't comment on battery life etc. LO has only recently gotten over his fear of it!
I'm sure your experience will be different. My LO has just never enjoyed any kind of ride on toy.
