If I keep a couple diapers, wipes, & Aquaphor in my car for unexpected post daycare trips (main example - to the ped)....will the Aquaphor freeze in the winter? It gets down to single digits where I live. Or is the Vaseline type consistency fine in the cold? Anyone have experience with leaving their ointment in the car?
(Sorry...I feel like this is such a silly question!)

I'm not sure about thecAquaphor, but the wipes will freeze! I left dd's in the car and it was a frozen block the next day.

Not sure but even if it doesn't freeze it wouldn't feel nice being so cold! I carry an emergency diaper in my purse

If its really for an emergency type situation I wouldn't worry. I would think that it would warm up with the car as it warms up while driving.

@T.H.O.U.: Depends on how frozen it is. If you leave your car for 9 hours at work while it's 10 degrees out and you pick your kids up after a half hour commute, that stuff's all going to be frozen still.

Wipes will freeze, and Aquaphor will be rock solid. I have a small bag (makeup size) with those supplies that I throw in my regular purse and carry inside with me in the winter.

Thanks all!!! I didn't even think about the wipes freezing!!! Ugh!! Back to the drawing board. I'll have to do like @Shannon: and get travel sized ones to keep in my work bag so that it comes inside during the work day.

One thing I've done recently that's been awesome is keep a small packing cube with diaper stuff in my purse. I use a tote bag and fits in there so nicely! It's got a Chux pad, 2 diapers, a small packet of wipes, a ziploc bag for disposal, and a spare sleeper/onesie. Love it.
