DD is constantly trying to pull herself up and I think it's time for a walker. I'd love to hear recommendations for a good, sturdy walker for hardwood floors.
I'm looking at a classic Brio walker and an Ekorre from Ikea, but I'm definitely open for suggestions

Those look great! We were told a tip that for early walkers with no carpet, a good walker where you can add a weight to it is helpful. The weight helps slow the walker down so it doesn't push away from them.

@T.H.O.U.: Thanks for the tip! I was debating whether to get a wagon-style or not, but now I'm more for it. Plus I'm hoping she can start picking things up after herself (I can dream)!

We have the Mellisa and Doug alligator one and it worked nicely on wooden and tile floors. I love wood walkers! The Brio is adorable and your LO would love storing things in it! LO tosses stuff on top of his alligators so I sometimes wish we got a simpler one like above.

We have the Radioflyer push wagon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KKCNHQ) that my LO likes a lot! He motors around our house with it whereas he is really apprehensive with a less sturdy walker that we also have (http://www.amazon.com/Step-Start-Walk-Ride-Colors/dp/B00004T2WP/ref=sr_1_12?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1362455992&sr=1-12&keywords=Walker).

@Sammyfab: I love that Radioflyer! Sadly it's not available here 
It's $43 for shipping + another $29 for an "import fee deposit" which will probably won't relieve me of the extra fees once it arrives. Sob.
The ones I posted would be fine if only they had a better color selection. I'm thinking of buying the Ikea one and painting it myself.

We have this one, Parents Around The Block Wagon, but I can't find it on Amazon. This is one I had for my 11 year old son snd kicked myself for getting rid of, I found ours on Craigslist. It has wooden, rubber, and fabric blocks inside.
