I have a large chest (32j) that I got in my early 20s (thanks birth control!). My chest has only grown since I have been breastfeeding. If your boobs grew while BF, did they get smaller when you stopped BF? Did they go back to where they were before you were pregnant? Stay bigger than before, but smaller than while BF? Or stay the same as when you were BF?

Was a 34G pre-nursing, still a G-cup 2 babies later. Just not as perky as they used to be

@schubr03: went up to "yup im getting surgery" level by 2nd tri, not much bigger after except for maybe one week when milk came in. Done to normal prepreg but still huge size (pre birth control size!) after a little over year though I weaned around 2 years. Some of the sag actually went away as they returned to normal size! Got the birth control boobs again when I switched from mini pill back to combo. Pregnant again, 2nd tri, huge again... Want the surgery again. I hate boobs.

@schubr03: I'm there, top. I seriously took a few bump pics holding them up/ out of the way and thought " oh cute bump without those things in the way". Im looking into maybe 5 years from now when I can afford it.

I went from DDD before pregnancy/nursing to a D or DD now 2.5 years into breastfeeding. It's honestly one of the best bonuses!

Mine went back to pre-baby size (34GG) when she weaned. I plan to get a breast reduction after I wean my next baby (due in March).

I'm a 36 G/H. They went from an H to a G after nursing but were less full all around. They tend to get a little smaller as I lose weight, but not by much. I have a feeling a reduction is in my future some day, but DH would be very sad about that. Me, decidedly less so.

I went up to a 40DD when nursing and back down to a 38D. Once I'm done nursing the next one I hope they go back to being 36C.

I'm at a 40E at the moment, I feel like I'm carrying boulders on my chest. They get super soft and floppy after a feed, but when I'm engorged its terrible. I'm definitely considering a boob reduction when I'm done with babies.

I was a D before dd and am still a D now. Mine don't grow much with bf'ing...but they were definitely less perky after nursing...
Hence why I will be getting a reduction/lift after this baby...

So it sounds like we are all in the same boat! Don't like are big boobs and all considering a reduction post-babies!

I wasn't thaaaat big (but big for my size). I was like a DD/DDD depending on the bra... After nusing they deflated so they're more like a DD now
I think if they perk back up they'd still be a DDD but since they're empty -
I was 40G pre-baby, they stayed about the same while pumping for a year & are now 38G. It'd be so nice to lose some of them so I could actually buy bras in a normal store like everyone else & not have to order them online. (Well I can buy instore, but at like Nordstrom's or somewhere I don't go often LOL)

@avivoca: DH is super supportive... He knows how much happier I will be and it will also open up options for me regarding lingerie that are currently nonexistent. Win-win!

@mrsrain: That's great! I'm pretty sure my husband would support me too if I ever needed a reduction. I just remember watching a documentary once about a woman with massive breasts...way past J cup and they stretched to her knees without a bra. Her husband was so against her getting a reduction because he was a "boob man," but she was in so much daily pain that she did it without his consent. Examples like that are what bother me. Men may like boobs but they don't carry them around all day every day.

I had discussed with DH prior to having children that I would likely need some "revamping" after the fact. His opinion was "lets cross that bridge when we get there". After having DD he saw the image struggle I was having and is now 100% supportive. Of course he tells me he loves me the way I am but he understands that my feelings and comfort are more important...
Plus I dont think he'll mind me getting a nice pair of perky ones some day!
I think if they perk back up they'd still be a DDD but since they're empty
