Our 3rd anniversary is in May...I'm hoping we can do a trip for our 5 year. Our youngest (due in April) will be 2 yo then so maybe we can leave them for a few days at that point...Not sure where to though

@Mrs. Blue: right?? I can hardly believe it's real. We were there in late September. I would love to go during our anniversary in August so it's more beach weather. The seafood. Oh. My. God.

@hilsy85: that is my DH's dream destination! I don't know if we'll get there any time soon though.
Our 5 year anniversary is in October and we'd like to go away but Id also like to be pregnant with #2 then and I really want to be able to enjoy some good drinks! Decisions decisions! -
@locavore_mama: I know a few people who have done the Maldives almost all via points (flights & hotel). It can be done but its not easy!!!!
I haven't really ever thought of doing anniversary trips! We just travel when we have time & money and hit the destinations on our bucket list!
Next up is Japan later this year. I think after that we'll probably stick to places closer to home.

I was really hoping to get somewhere for our 5th (which was also 2 months after both of our 30th birthdays), but it crept up too fast and we never got anything planned. So maybe it'll just get moved to our 10th. I want to do a safari for a big anniversary, but for a smaller one, would love to get to Hawaii or Alaska. My husband won't go very many places internationally, so anniversary trips are kind of limited.

I lived in Germany for 3 years, and would love to take DH to my old digs. But, we are thinking Tokyo for our 5yr anniversary. Maybe I can start saving $25 a week

Our anniversary is in May which is shoulder season for most destination so we take 1 of 2 yearly trips during that time.
#1 We went to Walt Disney World
#2 this May, we are doing Toronto/Montreal
#3 we're planning on an Alaskan cruise,
#4 We'd love to do London/Paris but we plan to start TTC after anniversary #3 so a #4 trip might not happen
#5 We'd love to do either Thailand or Bali
