Say a little prayer for us. DH got in a crazy productive mood and put together Little Y's new bed, and moved the crib into the nursery. I don't even have a bed rail for him yet! Naptime could be interesting...

Good luck! We just transitioned LO last week. She ended up napping on the floor for several days. The novelty has worn off and now she's back to napping on the bed.

Well, he thrashed and hopped in and out of bed for about 20 minutes. Now he's passed out along the width of the bed with his head up against the wall, ha. Hopefully he'll make it past the 45-minute sleep-cycle hump.

@T.H.O.U.: The nap was a dream. He slept more than 2 hours, and I had to wake him up or he would have slept more. He looks like he's out for the night ... I just hope he doesn't roll out of bed and freak out. We thought about putting something along the side of the bed but decided to see how he'd do without.

Glad it worked out so well! I transitioned LO to using his crib with the toddler rail, and he loves the freedom to get in and out of bed. Unfortunately it hasn't been so easy for us. He often fights bedtime.
