I watched the backyard interviews (http://bigbrothernetwork.com/big-brother-16-finale-backyard-interviews-jeff-schroeder/) and Derrick says that his daughter was a little scared of him, which he expected. Totally normal, but makes me sad!

@NeekieRose: That has to be so hard. Being gone for that long and your daughter is scared of you.
DH is gone for 4-5 days at a time, and she runs to DH when she sees him. So I didn't even think about her "forgetting" him. At least he won, so it was worth it.

I just watched the finale. So glad Donny won America's favorite and that Frankie wasn't in the top 3!

I avoided this thread bc I didn't watch until last night... sooo happy Derrick won! I was a little nervous whenthey were talking to the jury b/c they made it seem like the would vote for cody and that cody actually did a lot of game play. I also thought cody answered the questions well so I was sweating it a little for derrick!
I am happy donny won america's favorite but bummed he didnt' get to say anything. Julie was trying to get him over to talk but it was too chaotic. Was a little shocked zach was top three?
@Smurfette: I also thought it was weird he didn't immediately hold his daughter but then I thought about it and realized she may have been overwhelmed and may not have recognized him (made me sad for him) so he was probably just being a good daddy and not rocking her world even more--thank goodness he won!

Dick Donato "Evel Dick" has announced that he's HIV positive. Remember when he was on a few years ago and left the house abruptly? Apparently this is why. He found out when CBS told him in the Diary Room (they do blood work on all the house guests).
