I was nervous at first to have him on the bike with me, but turns out I don't notice the extra weight at all and no issues with balance. We both really enjoy it!
But so far we've only biked the trail behind our apt which is just a boring .5 mile loop, so we have to do several laps... I'd like to bike more places but that involves either biking on the shoulder, sidewalks or busy streets. I'm really nervous about it! I want to bike to the gym with him but it's 2.5 miles of street biking.
What would you feel comfortable with?
