LO's 2nd birthday party theme is going to be bows. I already made a ton of bows out of felt to hang as garland around the house, and they are all different shades of pink and white. I also made a banner, but it's all sorts of different colors, using this printable. http://ruffledblog.com/printable-alphabet-bunting/ and I'll make white bows to put on the top of each letter. I'm worried that it will look funny for most things to be pink but have a colorful banner. What do you think? Should I make a new banner?

@artbee: Hmmmm... First, I really love that banner! So cute! I wonder if maybe you just did white bows for the banner? Or maybe alternate so the pink is with the banner colors that go with pink but then the others are with white?
Idk... would it be difficult for you to change the colors to the shades of pink & white?

@runsyellowlites: I know, I found it on pinterest and fell in love and just went for it without thinking about colors. I already printed it out, cut it, and glued it on white card stock so I already put a lot of work into it (all of LO's nap time today)..... but I would be willing to change it if it's going to look bad.
Still a work in progress, but here's a picture of some of the banner next to the bows. Pretty much all of the decorations will be pink. Pink streamers, pink bows, etc. Is this going to look dumb and out of place?

@artbee: I actually love it! I think the colors will be a great accent, and you can just put the best matching pink on each one! I think that will also open up you being able to put splashes of other colors elsewhere if you want. =)

Maybe the bunting can be connected with white or pink bows! That would tie it together real nice I think - no pun intended
