In 2012 I had three friends that had babies within days of each other, on October 17, 20 and finally my bestie, at 42w1d on the 23!
Ideas for gifts for these boys? (All boys!) My husband works weekends and evenings and I haven't had the energy to drag J out to get gifts but I have to tonight as two of the parties are this weekend, eek!

Art Supplies have been a big hit for 2 year olds around here - play doh, kinetic sand, crayons, books, stickers, etc.

Is he in love with any characters or anything like that? Does he have a play kitchen? Maybe play food, dress up costumes, art supplies, legos, train/car stuff, art easel, playdoh kits...

Boys love craft stuff too. For one little boy birthday, I was able to find some wooden trucks and planes. And then I packaged it with some finger paints for him to decorate with

@jhd: @mediagirl: I bought this drum set for my boys last Christmas, right before they turned 1. If you get it, I recommend taking away the drumsticks! They are such an eye poking hazard! They seriously just used the sticks to beat each other.

@mediagirl: maybe it's a boy/girl difference? I have never once seen them play the drum with them. But, they do enjoy shaking the maracas in unison!

Loved getting Melissa and Doug fire trick floor puzzle and four puzzle boxed set (firetruck, train, car, bus). Any kind of trains or cars are great. Also the Melissa and Doug reusable sticker pads.
