A friend sent a gift that supposedly was delivered the same time as a box from Amazon. I got the Amazon box, not the gift from my friend. She filed a claim against the UPS for a lost/misplaced package and now the UPS is telling me that they will not deliver any more packages to my house without a signature. Convenient, it's not like I have a job or anything.
Everything I order is from Amazon Prime's two day shipping! This is such a huge pain in the butt with the baby coming!!!
Has anybody had experience with being un-blacklisted and/or having this issue resolved? I've never had this happen before, but apparently one time is enough?
To top it off, the lady was quite rude on the phone, kept insisting it was delivered, and then started saying things like maybe a drug addict or some kids stole it for money, and that they can't let any more packages come to my house without me signing for them personally.
sometimes they'll let you sign a release or on the ups iPhone app there is a delivery release you can authorize. It won't work with all packages though. You can also have them held at a ups facility for pick up or change the delivery date if you know you'll be home. Our packages went missing regularly though, even within our building- someone took one the other day, tore it open, decided they didn't want it and threw it back in the hallway. My neighbors suck
