I think so. That is what my LO gets, but I haven't had an allergy test done yet.

That's what happened with my son and hummus. I just held off and tried again a couple months later. It finally stopped at about 2 years.

My DD would get this after eating a specific cheese (not sure what kind but it comes with a cream spinach and artichoke) that we always order. It happened a few times but stopped.

@swedishfish: Hope so too. I watched DD like a hawk afterwards because she had a scary allergic reaction (broke out in hives) to avocados before. However, this would go away completely after 2 hours on it's own and did not spread to other areas so I let her eat it again and again. Now there is no reaction anymore.

@swedishfish: LO has this. She can eat well-cooked eggs like in baked goods but if she eats scrambled eggs she gets a bright red rash on her chin.
@Kimberlybee: My LO reacted to eggs and avocado too but the avocado reaction wasn't too bad. Do you know if they're linked? We haven't tried avocado since the first time. I was thinking of trying them again but your post is giving me second thoughts.

@Corduroy: My DD has no reaction to eggs. Scrambled eggs is one of our fast meat/ protein entree. I do want to reintroduce avocados later on since it's a superfood. She is teething right now and is on Tylenol and Motrin so I am going to wait a few more months. When she broke out previously, I gave her Benadryl and the hives cleared up.

@Kimberlybee: Thanks for replying. I'm glad your LO doesn't have an egg allergy but I'm slightly bummed my LO doesn't have an allergy twin to glean some info from. On the positive side I guess that means I don't have reason to be extra scared to reintroduce avocado. This time I'll have Benedryl on hand.
