My friend's son is turning 4 and she mentioned that he's into board games right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on board games that a little boy may like? Thanks!

I'd suggest the cooperative games from Peaceable Kingdom. They require players to work together to win the game, rather than compete against each other. It's a different twist on board games and can be perfect for younger kids because parents or older siblings can help reach the goal within the constraints of the game.

Super why board game, robot turtles, sneaky squirrel, suprise slides (my son loves his mickey one), hungry hungry hippos, operation (we have jake pirate), spot it.

I like the games from BlueOrange.
My son also has this Elephant's Trunk game and while we do "bend the rules" he does get the game.
