I have an almost 5 year old and almost 3 year old, but my younger one does not care about winning so we play connect 4, otrio(a tic-tac-toe game) and the Squawk Chicken Game(FYI:the squawking is loud & annoying)

The Snacky Squirrel game is a great one. Let's Go Fishin' is less annoying than Hungry Hungry Hippos.

My 5 year old and 2.5 year old love eeBoo United States bingo. The little one can't read, but she gets where the pictures go so they can play without adults. Jenga is good too.

Well, usually. Unless someone decides to play "volcanic eruption" with the pieces instead, and they get into a fight.

DS is 6 years old. Banana grams was a big hit (and educational) when he was 4+. Recently UNO is the biggest hit, then scrabbles, and he discovered battleship recently and he loves that too.

And, is chess considered a "board game"? he loves chess since a year or so ago.

I don't have an older kid, so I don't know how well it would go over with that age group, but my almost 3 year old loves Hi Ho Cherry O. She loves counting out the fruit and at this age doesn't care if she gets to pick it or has to put it back.

My oldest loves his Busytown board game. He got it when he was 3. He’s 4 now and likes to play There’s a Yeti in my Spaghetti. He totally cheats and doesn’t like to lose so I usually lose on purpose. He likes Candyland too. He likes to also play Connect 4, but he doesn’t have any strategy yet, nor can he see patterns, but I imagine he’ll learn the more he plays.
