Did your body bounce back quickly after having your little one? How long did it take? Did it ever really go back to pre-pregnancy?

I normally have a lot of trouble with my weight, but I lost everything but 5 lbs in the first month (I think because of the breastfeeding and low appetite). So weight wise, I would say I bounced back pretty well, but the bounce back overall was very, very slow. I dealt with incontinence and hemorrhoids and all kinds of horrible issues for a long, long time. I would say that at the 1 year mark, I was back in total working order... some things are slightly different (like my preferred sexual position! weird!) and your body is never really the same, just different.
of course, everyone's experience is different I know moms who felt totally back to normal (and fit back into their old clothes) after 3 months!

If I only gained 25-30lbs I'm pretty sure my body would have bounced back. I lost 30lbs within 6 weeks without even trying. Unfortunately, I gained 50+lbs and still have 10 to lose.
My body shape is different post baby though. I think all women are different.. just eat healthy and try not to gain too much weight! It'll melt off naturally if you do.

I had a c-section and my middle is still a little flabby and I gained some weight in my thighs so my pants and jeans don't fit, granted it's only been about 3 months. Other than that I lost almost all of the weight in the first 8-10 weeks without doing much.

I also gained too much and gained right before I got pregnant because I got off my meds, got pregnant, and had a miscarriage. I didn't lose any of that weight before getting pregnant again. So I'm still working on losing the weight.

I gained about 45 pounds, and 4 months later I have about 5-10 left to go. Although I now carry my weight a little differently. Other thanthe weight, I felt back to my old self within a few weeks!

I have lost all the baby weight and then some. I fit back into my pre pregnancy clothes but my shape is just...different...so some things don't sit quite right. My body felt like it was falling apart the first few weeks after having LO but it now feels about 90% back to how it was.

I gained 40-45 and still have 15-20 to lose at almost 6 mos p/p. Unfortunately, I have been eating sugar like it's my job and generally pretending like I'm still pregnant, so I only have myself to blame.

i gained 45 with charlie and lost it all within 5 months without any diet or exercise. but my clothes never fit the same way again even though i was the same pre pregnancy weight. i usually order up a size now and my stomach is permanently a pot belly.

I am 3 months PP and I have about 5 more lbs to lose to get back to pre pregnancy weight. However I had put on about 10 lbs prior to getting pregnant I want to lose as well. I would definitely say my body has changed though. I don't ever remember feeling this yucky about my body (I had lost almost 40lbs prior to my wedding) so I had been this heavy before, but I always felt more toned than I am now. I started the Insanity program, and am hoping it helps my body bounce back. 2 weeks into it I am down 4lbs, and about 8inches overall.
