Anyone have a Bogg Bag for swimming lessons/beach time? Are they worth it?
Also, it seems like there are a ton of knock-off versions. Maybe they are good enough...? Anyone have a review for me?

My mom has a bogg bag that I was intrigued by I didn't think it was worth the price (and my mom doesn't think it is either). But I did see a knock off style one at Sam's Club that I grabbed earlier in the summer when it was on sale. I like it but don't love it. It doesn't feel big enough for all of our things and I get annoyed to not have pockets.
This is the bag I have. The quality seems similar to the Bogg bag: https://www.samsclub.com/p/sportbrella-beach-tote/P03015073

I kindly requested a Bogg Bag for Mother’s Day from my husband and tiny human, but they picked the color. I wanted something useful!
I saw so many moms at swim lessons with them and honestly was sick of getting my LL Bean Canvas Boat N Tote wet on the bottom (non-washable)!
I have literally hosed the Bogg out after the beach and I love it. At first I felt so boujee, but really the bag works well for us. We’ve only had it a few months so I can’t speak about the longevity but so far so good!
The Bogg has two clear pouches that come as “pockets”, which is nice because they zip and you can rearrange them on the bag. I also use small plastic pouches for other things I don’t want wet that I bought on Amazon.

@Kmomartin: I'm currently using an LL Bean tote for swim lessons now too, and definitely see the appeal of something waterproof.

@catgirl: thanks for your review! They look great for swimming lessons, but I'm worried about the capacity for going to the beach or something....

@Lahela017: oh yeah, I definitely don’t use it for the beach unless I am going on my own. Though, we take a lot to the beach. I do use pouches in it to organize things but I still get annoyed having to sort through them. My current beach bag is super heavy and cumbersome but has great pockets and can hold everything we need. But I figure there is always a trade off.
I think it would be great for swim lessons. I like it when we are going to the playground or park because it stands up on its own and I’m not worried about putting it down on the grass/sand/dirt/whatever. I also tend to grab it if I want to corral things in my car. It stays upright and can sit at someone’s feet

I didn't even know these existed! We've just started swim lessons and this would be amazing. How many little pouches do you use?

I asked this question a year ago and these are the replies I got!

I ended up getting a huge Scout bag....which I like but hasn't held its shape well so it looks kind of busted. BUT I can fit a ton in it and I don't think the Bogg bag would have been as big as I need.

@LadyDi: haha!!! I even commented on your thread back then, but obviously have no recollection of it. Thanks for linking, I'll read through it now!

@Lahela017: I have one I use for swim lessons, church and traveling with kids. I wouldn’t buy another one. It’s okay. I like it but don’t love it.

I have a similar bag that is a bit smaller and I like that it stands on its own and can be easily cleaned. However, with our regular trips to the pool I noticed we have been regularly filling it up so was thinking about getting a larger Bogg bag but am debating it if is worth the cost. I have read in reviews that it is heavy.
