Any suggestions for a book for a 10 year old nephew? He's into building stuff (Lego, Knex, Bakugan, etc). No comics; must be a actual chapter book. 
I looked at Amazons list for 9-12 year old and it seemed a little inappropriate imo!

@mrs. bird: I thought about it because a lot of people suggested that in lieu of hunger games for my niece. But mythology and such isn't really his cup of tea.

@Silva: is it the one about the mouse? It sounds interesting to me but my nephew is very silly so I'm not sure if it would hold his interest.

@locavore_mama: yeah, there are a ton of them in the series. It's an adventure series about rodents. I loved them, and they were the first books my book-hating-brother liked.

check the scholastic website and you might find something more age-appropriate.
