Hi ladies...now that I'm well into my 2nd trimester, I figured it's time to get some reading on for what to do when baby arrives!
What are some books you recommend?

I'd recommend The Happiest Baby on the Block (or you can watch the dvd).

I read Baby Whisperer and it made me feel really prepared and exposed me to a lot of important ideas (even though I don't follow much about the book now).
I wish I read the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. I still might.

I second happiest baby on the block.
Other than that, read something fun. It's been months since I've had time to sit and enjoy a book that isn't about whatever parenting obstacle I'm currently trying to overcome

I also liked the Supernanny baby book. She tells you it is normal to feel absolutely crazy.
We also read Attachment parenting by Sears, Babywise and Baby Whisperer but they didn't work for us. -

The Baby Book
a couple sleep books: No Cry Sleep Solution and Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child were my favorites although at opposite ends of the spectrum! I appreciated reading different views and ideas.

I really liked Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child by Weissbluth.
Also, a fun (not instructional) read for first-time moms is Operating Instructions by Anne Lamott.
