I'll second First Look and Find (we have one about Elmo and Friends). My littlest is also obsessed with Smart Kids - Animals (Priddy Bicknell).

This is my son’s absolute favorite book. There’s a character (goldbug) hiding on every page. You can read the story, or you can just flip through the pages and talk about the ridiculous vehicles or other things going on. He got it as a 2nd birthday gift and I think we read/looked at it every single day for the following year.

Pout Pout Fish Hide and Seek is one of our faves!

We loved "Each Peach Pear Plum." I still can say it from memory... Also "The Big Hungry Bear," and "Bear Snores On" (and the rest from that series).
