@CatchAFallingStar: So for a four year old what you are looking for is a combination seat - it starts with a harness and then converts to a booster. Some retailers refer to it as a "harness booster." How tall is your four year old - both standing height and torso height?
The tranzitions (and wayz) is a good combination seat but may not be the best choice depending on height.

@CatchAFallingStar: We have the Chicco MyFit and love it. Can’t compare it to anything as it’s the first and only harness booster we’ve owned.
My almost 5yo is also very tall (he was 98th percentile at his 4yo well visit) and we also switched him a little after 4. He loves it because it’s more like a big boy seat and it’s so much more comfortable for him now.
FWIW he’s also well Over the latch limit so we do a seatbelt install and it’s super easy. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall it several times over the last year and after the first time of figuring it out it takes me like three minutes.
If you can still use latch it is SO easy. We had the NextFit for him up until the MyFit and my now 16mo is in the NextFit. There is not an easier latch out there, period. -
@CatchAFallingStar: my parents got that seat for their car for my 5yo. we weren't ready for him to move to a booster with the seatbelt yet. we have all been happy with it so far. We have the Graco Nautilus for him in our car.

We also have the Chicco Myfit and really like it! Comfortable, easy to install, two cup holders...

@CatchAFallingStar: My 7 year old (~47 inches, 41 lbs) is in the seat you linked, and we like it! I may buy it again for her 5 year old sister when she outgrows her current car seat.

We have the graco and like it. It’s not as luxe as the chicco but it’s narrow and easy and relatively inexpensive. Our daughter is really tall at 4 (nearly 90th percentile) and she is comfy but it will also last a long time. It’s also pretty lightweight so we can travel with it also.
