What are your go to at home activities? It's been raining for 3 days now. I'll be out most of the morning tomorrow so I really need to stay home today so I can get some things done during nap but LO and I are a little stir crazy. She received some play dough for Easter that we may play with and I'm sure we'll try to color for a little bit but I have a feeling that will take 30 minutes tops. (She's 19 months). Share your boredom busters!

We like to play with stickers (M has her own sticker book that entertains her for a bit), bubbles are a big hit as well as reading books, dance parties and the occasional clip of Elmo

Shaving cream
Baking soda and water (which, when it's nice out you can add more water than baking soda and make sidewalk paint)
Make a tent/fort
Make cookies -
@Mrs. Sunshine: We do LONG baths on cabin fever days! Bust out all the toys and let LO play in there until her fingers are prune-y. The bathtub is also a great place to blow bubbles indoors.

I let her go through kitchen drawers (the safe ones like Tupperware drawer...placemat/dishcloth drawer).
Bath time is always fun for us too. She can spend hours in there I feel like!
She also likes to "help" with laundry....takes me twice as long, but entertains her and is teaching a life skill? Sorta?

Do you have a water table or something to make a sensory bin? I was just reading about using them for indoor play with stuff like dried corn/beans/pasta.

but I want to get her a water table for this summer! she tried to eat the play dough so we read, colored and plated with stickers for a bit. Then the sun came out so we splashed in puddles and played with the water hose! Now she's eating crushed ice and watching Elmo lol
