Anyone have/had them?? If I had the extra $$ I would totally get Juvederm on my laugh lines. If you have had Botox or other fillers like Juvederm, how much did it cost? Did you like the results?

I've had Botox several times. I can't remember the cost, but its not terribly expensive. I believe juviderm is $500 an injection.

@littlek: Ohhh I'm jealous! haha...I have been wanting to bite the bullet and just do it for a while now. I wonder if the injection does a couple "areas" or if each injection is for a particular area of the face?

I'm very seriously considering it. Only reason I haven't made a consult yet is I know I won't be able to do it while still BF, but once I wean, I'm definitely making an appointment

@mamabolt: Yeah, there are so many places around me that provide the service, but I don't know anyone personally who has done it in IRL. I wish I did, so I could get a better idea of "before" and "after".

@CottonCandy: The injection covers a few areas. So for example, you can probably cover a few areas with one shot. I've only had botox, and it did not hurt at all. I really liked the result. I plan on getting it done again soon since I'm no longer BF.

I used to get botox for migraines. I was in my early 20s so wrinkles weren't an issue. It was before FDA approved it for migraines so I had to pay full price, $550 and it wore off quickly so I had to pay that amount every 3 months. That plus the awful pain of the injections made me never want to get it for cosmetic reasons. It's just not worth it to me.

@artbee: yeah, I would hate to pay so much $ for it to wear off so quickly...I mean, I know it is not permanent by any means, but I would hope it would stick around for a little bit. I'm sorry you get such terrible migraines...I sound like a weirdo, but I knew you got them b/c I am a long time lurker lol

@CottonCandy: It's a different time frame for different people.... but it should be anywhere between 3-6 months that you have to go back and do it again. Glad you decided to start joining the conversations

I've had botox. It was around $400, and I had it in my forehead (in the 11's between the eyebrows). The injection itself didn't hurt at all. It DID, however, give me panic attacks for about a week after having them. Apparently that's a side effect. The smoothness lasted about 3-4 months.

@valentinemommy: wow, panic attacks are not good! I didn't know that was a side effect!
