We are struggling with a name for LO2 - a boy. LO1 is Hayes and nothing seems to compare. Right now, our front runner is Rhett.
Thoughts on Rhett? Love it? Hate it? Another suggestion?
Middle name: Edmond is non negotiable.

@gracecat: I'm sure there will be a bit of that - mostly from folks my parents age, but I don't expect it to be enough that it bothers me. I've never read/seen Gone With The Wind despite being an English major/literature nerd.

I really like the name Rhett. My DH says it sounds too much like rat though and he vetoed it.
I would definitely try to read Gone With the Wind if you haven't yet. That name is strongly tied to Rhett Butler and you may want to see what kind of character that will be associated with your child, especially if you're interested in literature. He was a bit of a controversial character. It was a good book!

Love it!! I tried to push it on DH but got a veto. Gone With the Wind is my favorite movie ever so I love names that make me think of it.

I know a Rhett and I like the name! I've never thought his name was a reference to Rhett Butler. I think it goes well with Hayes.
