We just found out LO #2 is a boy! Yay! But um, boy names are hard. We're just starting to put a list together and DH has vetoed most of the names I love including Benjamin, William, Henry, Oliver, and Jack.
My favorite name right now is Nolan which he hasn't outright vetoed but did say "it's #86 right behind Jerome" (insert eye roll).
I also really like Camden but I don't know if it sounds made up?
Anyways, any suggestions from the name gurus? LO#1 is Reese.

@Mrs. Taco: No suggestions but support (and following because I need help as well with boy names)! My DH is the same way and offers no suggestions either.
FWIW, I know a Camden. He is actually named after Camden Yards. I forget what his middle name is but it also has to do with the Orioles lol. They call him Cam for short, which is super cute!

@lawbee11: Graham was on the list until we questioned it paired with Reese, seems a little foodie obsessed? haha. Carter is a fav too but it was a college BF soooo, yeah. Thank you for confirming Camden, it is slowly sliding to #1 since DH also really likes it!
@anbanan15: I've heard the association to Camden Yards. Being from NY I wonder about people mentioning Camden, NJ which is um, a less than desirable place. I love the NN Cam too!

@Mrs. Taco: Umm yea I agree with the Camden, NJ reference (went to college in NJ), but that would not be the first place I would think of, if that means anything I think it is cute and if DH is on board roll with it.

Boy names are hard. I'm 39w and we haven't finalized.
I like all the names your husband vetoed. I don't think Camden sounds made up. I know a baby girl that was just named Camden so I checked the popularity. Camden is #100 for boys and #2000-something for girls on nameberry for girls so I think the girl I know is an outlier.

I agree- boy names are SO hard!! I love Camden! I can't ever use it because I've had a student that ruined it for me (totally understand the teacher problems with naming kids both DH and I are teachers sooo it's bad)
My LOs are Nathan and Carter. I also love Nolan, Brennan, Trevor, and Colin.

I love Nolan! I have a good friend who's son is named that and he is the sweetest little boy ever. I like it because it's unusual but not weird and easy to say and spell! Camden is cute too but I think of a girl I know named Camden (goes by Cami).

@lady grey: DH currently likes Camden, Connor, Brady, and Elijah. I like them all but to actually use, I love Camden and then Eli (dropping the jah). I've been eyeing Sawyer!

@Mrs. Taco: I love to suggest names! The names your husband has ruled out are more classics that are making a comeback. My guess is he wouldn't like Theodore, Isaac, Leo, etc.
Camden is a more "now" name. However it has Celtic roots- according to my naming book! So if you both love it I wouldn't worry about the ties to the city. I think Cam is adorable too.

@LibbyLou: Thank you! I love than Camden has Celtic roots, I'm Irish! And yes, he totally vetoed Theodore (Finn and Bennett) too. Boo. I LOVE classic names, we had this same issue with DD and Reese was the only name on my list that wasn't a classic, I have a feeling that's why we're agreeing on Camden, not a classic but not too unique. I like Beckett though!

@Mrs. Taco: My Leo is short for Leonardo (my grandfathers name). While I love it in Spanish, I was just eh about it in English. But the nickname Leo made up for it.
I also have a Gabriel (Gabe). I like Colin, Andrew, Patrick, Henry, Samuel, Christian.
