DH and I have narrowed down our boy name list. I'm ready to settle on something, but DH has been dragging it out. I'm ready to monogram all the things and this is slowing me down
Couple of background notes: DD has 2 family names, DD's first name is a surname and it's Irish, I'd like to stick with something surname or Irish for DS... I want their names to "go together/sound good together", not random.
DH wants William as the first name, but I am only ok with it as a middle name. DH is ok with that.
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been leaning towards using my maiden name as DS's first name. I like that it's not overly common, but it's familiar. DH says he only likes it for a middle name. It's Reston with a P in front.
DH just mentioned that he is leaning towards Lucas. We had talked about this one, but I was kind of surprised he liked it. I like it ok, but doesn't really fit the Irish/Surname goal. It's also a little more popular/trendy.
Other names we both like - Theodore (nn Teddy), Landon, Campbell (my brother is Cameron and I like the idea of honoring him with a similarish name).
DD is Laney with a De in front.
Any thoughts?
