Did/Do you want a boy or girl first?

I voted boy because I have a big brother and I love it so I always pictured havig a boy first. But I feel bad for voting that way because I think the baby in my belly is a girl!

With LO, I didn't care but ultimately I was glad to have a girl first!

I have a boy so I said boy!! but I love the idea of my future DD (!!) having a big brother to protect her and be close with
I love having a big brother and we were super close in high school! He watched out for me and took care of me. He was the best. I'm still close with him even though he lives far away and miss him like crazy. It was valuable having a big brother - I had a big sister too but we weren't close until we were adults. so I love that I had a boy first.

I wanted a boy first, since I had an older brother growing up... However Lo is a girl..and couldn't imagine it any other way now.

I'm so glad I had a girl first. I had hoped to have at least one girl, so knowing that I'd get her made me never worry about whether or not I'd ever end up with a girl!

I always wanted a boy first because I wanted the brother to look after his little sister and wanted the sister to look up to the brother. Of course that doesn't always work out that way cause a lot of siblings don't get along. But we'll see! Hopefully my son will be a good big brother to his lil sis!

When I got pregnant I did hope that I'd be the first person I'm DH's family to have a girl (the only new girls in a long time are the ones that have married into the family) but I'm glad LO is a boy anyway!

I have a big brother, DH has big sisters. I made a comment once about wanting a girl first, so our kids wouldn't fight so much (my brother, love him now but when we were kids he beat me up alllllllll the time) and he laughed in my face. Apparently his sisters beat him up when they were kids. Ahhh, sibling rivalry.

Girl. I think lo will be more helpful and nurturing with the next since she's a girl. I have an older brother and sister and my brother pretty much ignored me but my sister was all about helping.
