Last night DH successfully put LO to sleep (with a little more crying than usual). Without me nursing at all.
Tonight he works late so it'll be me. I usually nurse to sleep so if I don't I'm afraid she will be very very angry. Mom + bedtime = boobs!
But if I nurse will I undo last night?

I would nurse a half hour before bedtime and add a different sleep cue like a lovey. Basically, find a way to disassociate nursing and sleep. It was hard, but we managed to. Do you also do a dream feed? A dream feed might help too.

@cascademom: I totally forgot about that! This way I won't have to drop my night session either. We've tried a lovey in the past and she doesn't take to it. But usually when you replace lovey with nursing I should have intro it before cutting the nursing completely?
LO is 15 months and is STTN.

@locavore_mama: I think so. It's been so long since we introduced his lovey, now two loveys (a Taggies blanket). The dream feed did wonders for being able to nurse and sleep long stretches. My LO is 11 months, STTN, and formula fed since 8 months.
