My daughter is 3.5 months and EBF. We have never had any issues with my diet, she's great.
The last 2-3 days her diapers have been regular seedy/mustard color but with mucus. I googled and it said food allergy? But she's never had an issue before. In What To Expect the First Year, it said it could be a stomach bug.
Thoughts? She's starting to get a little rash too

How long has this been going on? For us, food allergy became apparent when she had a poop in EVERY diaper and they were greenish.

Is she sick? Has she been stuffy? I found mucus in M's diaper when she was swallowing her snot when she was sick.

@prettylizy: past 2-3 days, and they are nowhere near green, just normal with mucus in them too.. She has had 2 poop diapers a day the last 3 days, out of 6-7 diapers per day? Only 2 (one Monday, one today) were huge amounts!

Has your LO been drooling a lot lately? A friend's baby had mucousy poops when she was teething and drooling tons. I guess all the saliva that she swallowed made her poops mucousy.

I just saw the pedi and she said the mucous in my baby's diapers might be a dairy allergy so she suggested that I try to not eat any dairy for a few weeks to see if that would help.

I'm a very picky eater, so I'm hoping this is either drool related or a bug as opposed to an allergy!
