Totally normal at this age. Liam would nurse alllllll evening when he was a newborn. I remember balancing a plate on the nursing pillow so I could shovel my dinner in with one hand while he nursed.

This is going to sound annoying to you, but I kind of miss the cluster feeding days, when I could nurse the baby, watch TV, and eat snacks. Now, he nurses for 5 minutes and pops off, and it's back to chasing him around! They're lucky they're so stinking cute!

@MoonMoon: I get what you mean! It's annoying and stressful at times but it's a total legit excuse to get comfy in bed with lots of pillows, Netflix, and have my husband bring me food!

@Danizaur: exactly! I totally didn't mean my post in a ”you'll see” way, more that every phase has its pros and cons. You guys will be fine

I currently work afternoons at my office, when I get home, all my 10 week old wants to do is nurse, nurse, nurse....for nearly two hours straight. So you are not alone .

Hang in there!! And just get cozy in bed... Makes the time go by much easier too.

@Danizaur: Ah yes, the lovely cluster feeding days. Right around 5-6 weeks it was about a 2 hr ordeal to feed her at night. It sucked, honestly. It actually made me want to quit BF-ing at that point. However, she started STTN at 6 weeks, and I definitely think her tanking up at the cluster feeds had something to do with it.

Hang in there! Get some netflix queued up!

Maybe he has to toot. My LO had trouble farting in the first couple months and she'd act really similar to what you're describing. I'd take her diaper off and bicycle her legs or wipe her bum and that usually helped get a toot and poo out and then she'd calm down.
