My BFF got engaged and was planning for a June 25th 2016 wedding. After our miscarriage we tried the month that would have me due in May, but planned to take the next off so I didn't have a new born. I was ok being super pregnant at the wedding! But, she ended up moving the wedding a year so she could buy a house.... And now I'm due June 30th!

Yeah I would rather be very pregnant than dealing with a newborn at a wedding.

Will the wedding be local? Does she know your TTC plans?

Def easier still being pregnant (provided you're not far away from where you're supposed to deliver), but if it's your BFF, and you have a newborn, I guess it's not THAT terrible to have to go too, again, given that this will be a local wedding and someone will for sure be able to watch LO for you and assuming you will be able to pump, etc.

I went to a wedding at 36 weeks pregnant and was miserable. Swollen feet, achy back, etc. THAT SAID, I'm not sure I could have handled doing it with a newborn... I think a lot depends on whether or not travel is involved, etc.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I feel like either if you are super pregnant, or had recently given birth, it will probably be uncomfortable either way, lol! But I agree with everyone; ultimately being pregnant is still easier.

I guess it will just depend on if you think it's worth waiting to TTC for that little while to make sure you can be in the wedding!

YES, given the choice, I would choose to be pregnant instead of have a newborn!

My cousin had a 5 week old when she was in my wedding. She didn't have any major issues. I think I'd rather have a newborn, though I never carried to term so I'm just basing that on how I guess I'd feel hugely pregnant.

Emotionally/mentally I would much rather be super pregnant than have a newborn. Neither would be easy but I was a crazy person for months after having LO and would not have been able to be a bridesmaid.

I would DEFINITELY rather be pregnant than be recovering from a c section! I honestly can't even imagine going to a wedding within a month of having a c section, let alone being in the wedding! and I had an easy recovery. I guess I just don't count on it being as easy with #2...

I would rather be very pregnant. I was very active in the last few weeks of my pregnancy, building the baby furniture, hosting a 40th birthday party and having out of town guests. Newborn days and c-section recovery were a blur. I did go to one event at 2 weeks pp but I couldn't have assisted with anything, I could barely stand up for 20 mins in a row.

I was in one sisters wedding at 34 weeks pregnant and in my other sisters when my son was 5 months old. It was hands down easier being pregnant than dealing with the logistics of the baby. Honestly though, you make it work either way when you love the couple getting married.

I'd most definitely rather be pregnant than with a newborn. Yes, you might feel a little uncomfortable, but you won't have to be worrying about all the things that come after the baby is born (sleep deprivation, pumping, child care, etc)

I would have been totally fine being very pregnant and a bridesmaid as long as I didn't have to travel too far (fly).
But as a new mom, I would have been a train wreck! It would have been fun for nobody and memorable for all the wrong reasons!

DS is two weeks old and I am in a wedding next week. I am dreading it. I would rather be pregnant although it would be super uncomfortable. This schedule, even though I opted out of hair and makeup, is ridiculous and I will have to drag my pump along, leave DS with bottle and the in-laws, etc., etc. Ugh. Not ideal at all.
