We took it when we traveled - it's just easier to use what they're comfortable with. Depending on how annoying it's going to be to transport it might be easier to just order a new one and have it delivered to the in-laws? Or get one of those seats that makes the toilet seat toddler-sized, which is more compact.

I would totally bring it! DS was a stander so we made sure that my in laws (whose house we were always at) had a kiddy urinal. We also had a travel urinal and if we went to visit anyone, we brought a spare with us. A lot of work but I can't tell you how happy I am that he's trained!

Maybe a little weird but worth it! I have brought the little potty and the on-top-of-the-big-potty seats to the in-laws a few times, or even sent them with DD when they took her for the weekend. And left one of the big potty seats there for her to use.

If you're driving and have room, I would take it. We traveled about a week and a half into potty training, and bringing the potty with us seemed to work well.

We are 6 months into training and I will bring a little potty with us when we travel. He can use it himself which helps SO much. I will keep it outside of the down stairs bathroom at my aunt's. It's so easy to travel with and worth it. He will also use it at rest stops instead of going into the public bathroom. Or if he has to go right away it's easy to use on the side of the road.

Bring it!!! I don't know why but my son will only use the little potty when he's in someone's house. He's fine on a regular toilet in public.

Bring it! We went on a train ride before Halloween that included a stop at a pumpkin patch. One of the first people off the train was a Mom and toddler and she busted their potty out in the middle of the field.
