DH and I were discussing switching DD to FF in her marathon soon, but we cannot find the chest pads ANYWHERE. We moved since I took them off while she was rear facing since they were always in her face and uncomfortable. I tried googling replacement pads, but I am having no luck. All I found was the HUGS pads but those aren't compatible it looks like for the Marathon CT. I do need those chest pads to FF right? Help!?

I have a Britax Boulevard. It has rubber "pads" that go on the straps with the chest clip. Is that what the Marathon has?

@Mrs.KMM: Yes, it's those grey rubbery pads that slide on the belt.
ETA: in the britax manual they are called "impact absorbing chest pads"

Here's what my manual says:
"Important: impact absorbing chest pads are highly recommended for forward facing mode. Removal of chest pads is optional for rear facing mode to ensure a snug fit for small infants."
Could you contact Britax customer service? They might be able to send you replacement pads.

@MamaG: It says on the page that it's only compatible with the advocate/boulevard/pavillion., not the marathon.

That's odd. The straps are uniform width I would expect. I can't grasp how they wouldn't be compatible.

@MamaG: yeah i was thinking the same thing, but i don't want to get them and void the warranty!
