Did you have a fun "bucket list" before baby? Nothing like saving or buying a house, but a fun list of things you wanted to do before becoming parents? Maybe a trip you wanted to go on? An adventure or exciting experience like skydiving? 
We didn't really have a bucket list aside from traveling a lot. And we did travel as often as we could! But, the one trip we didn't take is going to Korea just the two of us! We'll make it a family trip in a few years yet though

My husband and I had always talked about going to Morocco, and then got into fertility treatments and kept putting it off because I kept thinking I might be pregnant. Finally we just decided to book it and if I couldn't do everything because I was pregnant, then great. We had a great great trip and I'm so glad we went, I don't think it's the kind of trip we would go on now that we have kids (at least not for a while). I also wanted to run a marathon, but I never actually got to it - committing so much time to training runs seemed too daunting.

We went to Egypt, Vegas, and Marfa, TX in our first year of marriage - three places we wanted go that seem very child-unfriendly! I also ran two half marathons before I got pregnant, and during my pregnancy we've gone out for a LOT of fancy dinners.

ETA: I want to do it again but I don't have the body or the guts to do it at the moment. Goals for 2017!

We wanted to take one fabulous trip before TTC. We ended up doing 2 weeks in Hawaii and it was amazing.
While TTC-ing and pregnant, we made a list of restaurants in our city that we wanted to try, and we also agreed to take many smaller trips (basically I tagged along with DH on several of his work trips). I think we ended up taking like 4 or 5 short trips that year and eating at like 10 nice restaurants. It was a great year.

We wanted to move abroad, which we did. Otherwise, no. We were older when we started a family, so had done quite a lot of things on our personal bucket lists anyway. However, now the kids are here, there are definitely things we wish we had done.

Travel was the big one for us too. Not that we took tons of crazy trips, we just tried to prioritize the ones that would be hardest with little kids. We went to Alaska while I was pregnant as or last hurrah for a while.

I have a life bucket list but not anything that was specifically pre-baby. I don't think whether or not I have children has any bearing on my ability to complete my bucket list items.

i definitely wanted to travel more. DH and I were both full time students for so long that we never had the money to travel freely and so i had hopes of taking some nice couples vacations together before having kids, but it didn't happen. i got pregnant before i finished my degree and only got my first full time time job where i was actually making decent money when i was 7 months pregnant. And DH got his around the same time. oh well, we will stick to family vacations and still go to fun places with the kids when they are a bit older and then travel as a couple in our retirement i guess!

We went to Hawaii twice, did a bunch of long weekends in Napa, joined a winery and got lots of great wine, spent a week every summer at the lake, and generally just really enjoyed lots of regular date nights.

@mrsjyw: Maybe small, but we went to four silly daytime movies the four Sundays before DS was born Complete with popcorn and icees! We figured a movie was the last thing we would be able to do for awhile. It was so much fun!

Yes! I asked M what trip he would like to go on since we were hoping for a baby the following year. He said NYC we went for 10 days. I got my BFP 2 days after we bought our airfare. Traveled at 14 weeks. I'm so glad we went pre baby.

We did. It included big things like international travel, practical things like promotions we wanted to achieve at work before TTC, and fun things like several local restaurants we wanted to try, plus a couple other experiences we couldn't have done with a baby.

I wasn't really in a place to be making bucket lists or checking off very much before I had kids. I'm much more ready to do those things now, and I'm mostly just excited to do them with my kids.
@ms.line: Was Marfa especially kid unfriendly? I'd like to go and take my kids someday.

We wanted to do one last big trip before TTC. Went to Greece this summer and it was AMAZING! I'm really glad we went We're planning to do some sort of babymoon, but much more low-key.

@sarac: I would probably do it with older kids. We drove out from Austin and stayed in a trailer at El Cosmico, which was fun but not particularly convenient. Food options are quite limited, and most of the entertainment is conceptual art and very expensive shopping, so I don't think it's kid-friendly in that way. I only saw one kid (tourist) while I was there - a 7 year old visiting with his parents from Mexico, and he had a minor meltdown on the all-day Chianti Foundation tour (understandably!). We also drove out to McDonald observatory in Ft. Davis though, and that was fun and there were lots of families there.

We have travelled tons as a couple but wanted to do a really amazing trip for our honeymoon. We went to Turkey for a month, it was amazing!
