My 4 year old got attacked by mosquitoes the other night, I'm not sure if there was one in her room or something, but it was pretty bad. Well she always picks at her bites, they break open and then she picks those and they turn into little scars.I tried covering them with bandaids but that doesn't last very long. What can I do to get her to stop picking at them?

Have you tried After Bite? I have the same problem with my two year old; she's currently flecked with little white spots where she's scratched mosquito bites. The After Bite does help a little, when I remember it!!

I have super sensitive, easily scarred skin and am allergic to a lot of bug bites. I have quite a few scars from picking at bites as a kid. Putting something on the bites to stop the itching was, and still is, the difference maker. Bactine, tea tree oil, Benadryl anti itch stick, and Shea butter all work for me.

@Bao: there is a benadryl anti itch gel which is so much better than the other creams or sticks from my experience
