Honestly, I'd probably vacate the premises. Find a neighbor with some Raid?

@anonysquire: does that work?? I don't want to make them mad.
@Sweet T: well Cobi has to go to bed. They're not in his room thank goodness
@adnama: ugh I don't have any windex.
I also don't have any type of fly swatter either...

@Coco Bee: It seems like it would. Maybe hairspray and a lighter to make a fire cloud!

One night I was up after my husband went to bed and I heard a really loud noise. It was a giant roach on my ceiling! After having a mini (silent) freak out I decided I better kill it. Well, I couldn't reach it so I got out some kitchen cleaner and sprayed it a bunch. It fell on my foot, so I screamed and flailed until it came off. Then I smashed it with my husband's flip flop. A couple minutes later he comes out of the bedroom and asks me what is going on. Then he laughed at me. *sigh* If I had known he was going to wake up, I would have gotten him up from the start to kill it.
So, cleaner may work, but make sure they don't fall on you!

@Leialou: ewwww I was totally grimacing and "dancing" during your story. ech.. that would totally eek me out and I would have totally woken DH up for that!

@Leialou: You are a much, MUCH braver person than me! I make DH kill any and all bugs....I don't care if he's sleeping or in the loo or whatever, he needs to come immediately and kill bugs!
Disclaimer: I live in QLD, Australia where 'normal' bugs are the size of small children.
@Cocobee: I have no advice other than to maybe shut yourself in Cobi's room and wait for your DH to come home! Good luck!!

I've had one wasp a day for the past three days ... and one of them was HUGE. Spray it with hairspray or bug spray to disorient it, then smack the living crap out of it.
