When you took your LO to BAB how much did the total come to? What did they get for that? Do they offer coupons and such?
My 3.5 year old is very into stuffed animals right now. I'm thinking for her big Christmas present this year we'll take her to Build A Bear for the first time. I've never been and I'm excited!! Haha just trying to get a ballpark figure in my head.

A basic bear with no clothes is like $15. I'd budget closer to $40 if you want more stuff.

Our kids got $25 gift cards there so we went - I had to spend an additional $50 - yikes - so $50 per kid total

The first time we went we got just the bear and a shirt. It was less than $30. They can get pricey if you add scents, special hearts, sounds, clothes, accessories etc. LO just likes to go through the motions and usually we leave with just the animal (no extras) and that's less than $20. I know I get coupons occasionally through their email.

I think we spent a little under $30. We did the recorded voice box but no clothes or accessories. We made a bear (actually a puppy) with a recording of her saying "I love you" for her daddy to take with him while we were apart for 1 month.

We got a $12 puppy, a $3 sound to put in his paw so he barks when you squeeze it, and a $5 outfit that was on clearance. So $20. It's really not that expensive! We didn't get any shoes or accessories because I know my girls wouldn't keep them on anyway.

I got one as a gift for our flower girl when we got married. I think it was around $40? Included bear, outfit and shoes. No songs or scents or anything.

@regberadaisy: there is always a little clearance rack so I just told W "you can pick anything from this section." She got a Snow White dress!

we haven't taken our kids yet, but we took our niece for her 4th birthday a few years ago. I think the total came out to be around $70. she picked out a bear, clothes and a few accessories.
I don't plan on doing BAB with our kids since they already have too many stuffed animals

I've taken B a few times and even with free reign he never wants any of the extras. He just likes picking and making his own stuffed animal. I've never spent more than $20.

@regberadaisy: you press the hand and it plays a song. I think it was $5 for a basic song and $7 for premium and of course we had to get "Let it Go" in our football bear.

I think we spent $40, Zebra was $25 then clothes. Maybe $50?
