I don't think it's that bad a punishment, really. In fact it's pretty fitting. He humiliated people and his punishment was a taste of his own medicine.

Still, I can see why he got flack for it. I hope he also made the kid apologize to his victim(s).

You see a lot of parents lashing back at others for calling their kid a bully...so i don't see this as a bad thing. Yes, not really the best way to discipline your child (is child shaming the new spanking?) but i give him kudos for at least trying to get the message through to his kid.

I am not a huge fan of public humiliation punishments, but I applaud parents for taking a stand.
