here's me and sadie at 26 weeks, 6 days. tomorrow starts the third trimester! i'm SO ready for february.
i don't feel like my belly is as big as it should be approaching my third trimester... especially since it started off pretty round! i'm so worried she's not growing enough. what do y'all think?

@photojane: I think you look perfect! I was definitely not bigger than that at 26 weeks, and all throughout my pregnancy I have gotten comments about how my belly was small and I also worried...But I always measured fine at my appointments for fundal measurements, and now late in the third tri- she is HUYUGE! I think all babies and bellies have different growth spurts, but if you are worried then I would just doublecheck with your dr at your next appt- ask if the fundal measurement is still okay!

@PrincessBaby: my problem is that i started much bigger than you! you're so cute and little, and i started out bigger than you are now. ha
she has a little bit of a cord issue that can keep her from growing normally, so i think that definitely adds to my worry. i can't tell much difference in the last few weeks pictures, but i'm probably just being paranoid. i'm so thankful we have a doctor's appointment this week!

@photojane: Ohh, I didn't know there was a cord issue...I would ask at your appt this week if you can come in whenever you want (like when you don't have an appt but are just worried or nervous about her growth) to check her fundal measurement. Or if they can show you how to measure and you can measure her on your own at home. I would be paranoid about that too, and need extra avenues to ease my mind. I hope that everything is PERFECT at your appt!

@photojane: I think you look great. I have worried that the belly isn't growing as much either but doing side-by-side shots has shown me that I'm really sticking out more and more every week. Plus his stronger and stronger kicks tells me all is progressing as it should. I notice my belly looks smaller or bigger or different shapes depending on how he is laying too!
@jaguar: Not at all, I totally lost my feet around 22 weeks so you seem right on track!

The red pants are from Old Navy maternity! They have several bright colors and are cheap! I went one size bigger than my non-pregnant size because I read that they ran small.

@photojane: I would go weeks at a time where I didn't really feel like my bump got bigger. And then all of a sudden one day I would totally pop out a bit. I wouldn't worry yourself over it too much! I know I know... easier said than done : )
