I have almost thrown in the towel! Lots of swelling issues, but this baby's almost done! According to doctor, I could go anytime between now and September 1!

So I've been in hiding due to my "Sooooie!" hamhock thighs kind of putting me in a "don't look in the mirror at any cost" kind of mood...But DH made me take one to send to him offshore and I kind of squeezed them together so they don't look as scary as they really are. So I'm allowing this one.
23 weeks:) Whoop Whoop! 6 months along in a week!

Oh and just on a funny note....
@mrs. wagon was saying on another thread how she's all about rewarding herself whenever she sees fit, and I thought about it, and when I was down in the dumps because my thighs are now BFF with one another and rub against each other all the time, I thought about what a genius @mrs. wagon is. And then I took myself to the Coach store and I bought a new handbag and wallet to make myself feel better. And I wanted to share with you guys that it really WORKED. MrsWagon - a genius among us!
So I took a pic with my new bag (it's a good "Mom" bag and I don't really have any nice big open ones like this = JUSTIFIED), and I had texted DH that I was sending him a pic of my new bag and he was texting me back "Your WHAT?" and so that's why I'm cracking up in this photo:)
So anyway, if anyone else has a Crap Preg Body Image Day, or in my case - a Large Thigh Day, do as mrs. wagon does, and buy yourself something lovely:)

I guess it's not *that* bad but man...that first week of realization was tough. I didn't buy myself anything then...I wonder if i'm still entitled to or if that expired.

Here is my bump at 37 WEEKS! That's right! I am FULL TERM today! I grew a full person. I did see my first lil stretch marks pop up. too short ones on my left hip but they don't bother me too much. They are my tiger stripes and I earned them. I am posting a bare belly shot and a shot of the marks but if you missed it here is a link to my Maternity shoot. My hubby took these shots yesterday and I think he did a great job!

BTW you look AMAZING. I see no thighs... but I do know what you are saying - my thighs rubbed soo much that it burned a whole in my leggings lol I was so upset. -

Everyone looks so awesome! There are some lovely growth spurts happening right before my eyes:) I LOVE watching these babies grow:) It won't be too much longer before we start seeing some baby photos!

Thought I'd post my last set of photos...taken a few hours before we left for the hospital (39w4d), and one week post-partum (today).
Please excuse the disgusting state of my bathroom mirror. I cannot find the motivation or energy to clean it.
