We were just at BBB last weekend and their selection of gliders was impressive! Much better than BRU. They carry a much higher end variety of gliders, including many upholstered chairs. We are definitely considering buying a glider from BBB.

We must be pretty close to each other since it's about 40 minutes north of me, too:) But, I haven't been so I can't offer suggestions. It was just opening when I was registering, and I haven't made it up that way since baby girl was born! Good luck, and be sure to let me know how it is if you go!

I went to the one up in Manchester recently, haven't been to the Braintree one though. They had a lot more gliders than the babies'r'us. I liked that they had a bunch of the nicer glider recliner kinds, not just the wooden exposed mechanism looking kinds. I remember liking one from Little castle and I think the other was from best chairs, I don't think BRU carries either brand. They had the fabric swatch albums for a few to order from & said if there was a style chair from the company that you liked but they didn't have it in the store, they could still order it for you. The staff was all super helpful & knowledgeable. I totally feel in love with BBB as a store & if you haven't been to one, I think it is totally worth the trip if you have some time for it. They also had a bunch of things BRU doesn't have instore, so it could be fun for you to browse. How much further is the NH store for you? 'cause you'd save the 6.25% sales tax there

@sorrycharlie: I didn't bother to look at the brand, because a furniture store had a nicer rocker for less. The $400 rocker is similar to the one you like, but it's white. Dunno if it comes in other colors.

@sorrycharlie i totally echo your feelings! i live 350 miles away from the closest one and can't wait to go look at BBB this next week when I travel for business. They did a great job special ordering my stroller (it was a gift) and rushing at no cost so it would arrive in time for my shower.
