Do you plan on getting your tubes tied during a future C-section?
We want 3 kids (maybe #3 in 2015 or 2016) but we don't want to get permanent birth control until we are in our forties.

No. We plan to have my dh get a vasectomy as soon as we decide we're done (prob after #2).

DH wanted me to get my tubes tied with my last c-section (LO#3) but I just couldn't do it. I'm only 30 and I didn't want permanent birth control yet. I would maybe consider it if we have one more baby, but I really wouldn't want it until I was closer to 40 if not at least 40.

Yes, I will almost definitely do this. We had originally decided that DH would get a vasectomy after #2 unless I needed a c-section. But since I had a c-section with DS I think I'd like to skip trying to have a vaginal delivery next time and do a c-section. And since we only want 2 and I'll probably be 37 or 38 at the time, it makes sense for me to get my tubes tied instead of having an additional procedure for DH.

Yes! If there is a #2, I will definitely have a tubal ligation. I will be over 40 if this all happens and we will definitely be done.

Yes - after #3 (if we have a #3). I'll be close to 40 by then. Though I don't mind birth control - I lose weight on it.

Yep - I did.
We knew we were done and didn't want to bother with birth control - after my c/s it took about 3 extra minutes and it was done!

If we decide to have #2, then I'll have it done during my c-section. If we decide we're 1 and done, then he'll have a vasectomy as soon as we make that decision.

Same as @ShootingStar, although I'm still fighting over VBAC vs repeat C. If i go with a C, then I will probably get my tubes tied.

No, I didn't/won't. We are pretty sure we are done at two, and I was ask by people if I was getting my tubes tied with this last csection and I said no. My mom had horrendous periods after hers, no thank you! Also, the hospital I delivered at is a catholic hospital and doesn't do them.
