@SeptMomma12: here were LMW's stats at her 12 month appointment:

Weight: 24.38 lbs (95%)
Length: 31 in (95%)
Head Circumference: 19 in (99%)

I think percentiles are different for boys vs. girls.

In any case, I have a gigantic baby as well. Wagon Sr. and I aren't skinny but neither of us are tall (I'm 5'6" and he's 5'7") and LMW is super crazy tall. Her brother is short for his age and was never above 50th percentile for height. Sooo.... big babies unite!!! One huge perk is that when they get sick, you don't have to worry if they're not eating well and they lose a pound or two. Although that has never happened with LMW. She still eats just fine even when she's sick....

C was 10lbs8oz and 22" tall at birth. 16lbs at 4 months, and 21lbs by 6 months. She has always been upwards of the 95th percentile, usually 99-100th. At a year, she was 24lbs and 30.5" tall and at 17 months she is 27lbs and 33" tall, which is about 91st/92nd for height and 87/88th for weight.

She seems to have slowed down A LOT. She did hit a growth spurt between 12 and 15 months but she hasnt seemed to grow much more since then. She's slimming out a lot. She's going to be a string bean, I think, since she's very tall. She towers over 2 year olds and is the same size as some of my friends 3 year olds.

I was expecting a big baby. She's following pretty much the same growth pattern that my mom said my brothers and I did.

@SeptMomma12: haha!! yeah... when LMW was born (induced a week early), she had long fingernails and was chubby. She screamed as soon as she came out and didn't stop until I finally gave in and fed her some formula (after trying the breast, etc). She sucked down 1.5 ounces and fell asleep immediately. That's when I knew...

DS isn't quite a year yet. He's 10 mths, almost 24 lbs and 33" tall. We always get comments that he's pretty big. I'm petite, husband is gigantic. Our daughter also seems much taller and stockier (but not overweight) than her peers. And she barely eats too. They get their big boned frames from my hubby's side.

Yup, she has consistently been over 90% for both height and weight.

At my LO's 12 month visit in August, he weighed 24lb7oz. Can't remember exact length off top of my head, but I know he was like 96th percentile. My DH is 5'9" on a good day so he's rooting for my Dad's tall genes to come through. LO towers over the kid next door who is 3 months older.
