Hellobee Boards

Oh my gosh I absolutely dreaded those. Most of mine were either the "is-my-child-being-challenged-in-your-class?" types or the slackerish no-show type. I co-taught and one year I had a partner who liked to go on and on about how wonderful the kids were--stuff I knew wasn't completely accurate--so the parents would like her. I felt like the bad guy if I said anything was less than stellar.

Can't remember anything too funny. Once a mom asked me if all the girls in my class wore heels (5th grade) because her daughter had said she wanted to because everyone else did. Of course I told her no they didn't and then she was asking me for advice on whether or not to let her wear heels!!

9:00pm?!??? We stay until 7 pm and I think that's super late.

Today we saw a play and one if my students tooted in the quietest part and it was completely on purpose. That's gross, but what was funny is that Hubby and another student got so tickled by it they almost had to walk out.

That's a story I bet you didn't think you would hear.
