It looks like a bromeliad. It blooms one flower in the center. That's my best guess anyway! I'm not that great with plants.

The leaves do look like this Bromeliad but its never flowered - it also multiplies like crazy! I just removed 5 shoots from this one small pot

It looks like Mother In Laws Tongue (seriously, that's what its called). I think it has a scientific name too of course!

@psw27: Thanks for leading me in the right direction! I looked up MIL tongue which led me to snake plant which lead me to birds nest snake plant - that's what I have - Birds Nest Snake Plant - Thanks!!

Looks like a snake plant to me. I know it goes by other names also. I've been trying to find one for myself to buy!
