I need to get bloodwork done and I have off next Tuesday so I want to schedule it then. My husband will be working. Will I look crazy if I bring my almost 2 year old son? I am never in the lab room more than 5 minutes but I don't know if it is inappropriate to bring him.

I've brought DS (who's also 2) with me when I was having bloodwork done, but it didn't take me long though. How long will it take you? Question would be, can he sit there quietly long enough for you to get it done (even if you have to bust out toys and the iPad).

Yeah, I brought my 2-3 year olds to a few blood draws. I didn't need an appointment so I always went first thing in the morning so we were in and out

I would bring my daughter with me to get blood drawn. But I would bring her stroller so I knew for sure I had somewhere I could strap her in and make sure she was safe and contained for the 5 minutes it takes for them to actually take my blood since I have to sit still.

@Alivoo01: He gets shy in new places so I'm hoping for the time I'm in there he'll be fairly quiet. It is always pretty quick and I will definitely bring some books and toys or find him a good baby video on my phone!

I brought my 2.5 year old to two blood draws in the past month, and she just sat on my lap and watched the whole time!
