Yes! They even sell chalk paint spray paint now that would probably work awesome! If not that you just use a spray paint formulated for metal. It usually says on the can! That's super cute btw.

@Snowjewelz Rust-Oleum makes a paint and primer in one that comes in several different finishes. I just spray painted an old brass lamp base and it came out great!

She used a primer and then paint, but the paint + primer in one worked just fine for me. I had to do a couple of coats in a few places, but it was super easy!

@snowjewelz: the only time i ve had issues with spray paint and/or a paint+primer in one is moving parts. So be careful about sliding those clips over the rail because over time it will scratch/chip.
