Does your phone have a code to unlock it and does your partnet know that code. Do you know his? I got into a discussion about this with a friend and wanted to know what you guys think. Would you be offended if your partner didnt want you to know their code for their phone? or do you think he deserves his privacy. My friend says if you trust your partner you wouldnt want to access their phone, but I think if he doesnt have anything to hide then whats the big deal and keeping it a secret

I know his code. I don't have one. We get on each other's phones when needed. We have nothing to hide. We're too boring to worry about anything going on.

Neither of us have lock codes on our phones. We don't have a problem with the other using our phone.

I don't see why you wouldn't want your SO to access your phone unless there was something you didn't want them to see. I don't buy the "privacy" thing. Meh, anyway, we don't care, we both have access to each other's phones.

We don't have passcodes on our phones. But if your conversation with your friend was about whether or not you can or do go through SO's phone, I look at DH's phone from time to time. Usually I'm using his because mine's dead & then end up poking through it. If he told me not to, I'd have questions.

DH has one of those swipe codes. I know it and I can access his phone if I wanted to. I don't have a code.

We both have the same code for our phones. When one of us needs a phone, we just grab the closest phone no matter who it belongs to.

We know each other's codes, but never really use each others phones. I would have a big problem if DH kept his from me.

We don't have codes but if we did, we'd know each other's.
I never go through and check his phone nor do I care to.
But, we use each other's phones all the time to look up numbers or take pics when one of us forgets their phone or something. -
He knows mine, he doesn't have one. The only reason I have a code is to lock my phone and avoid pocket dials. He's persnickity about me using his phone, but that's his inner brat (don't touch my things) not that he has anything to hide.

We both lock ours because our LO likes to get into our phones.
Our codes are the same though. -
We don't have codes; we dont know each other's email passwords though so Im not sure if we would share phone passwords. It's not a big deal to me; just because we married doesn't mean we aren't entitled to privacy.
