We don't have a home phone. My dad recently pointed out that he feels like we (meaning all of us) miss out on building a relationship with our in-laws because my family calls me on my cell phone, and hubs's family calls him on his cell phone. I never really thought about it, but it's a good point. Growing up, I remember if I answered the phone when Grandpa called, I talked to him. Or if my dad answered when Aunt Em (my mom's sister-in-law) called, he talked to her. I think maybe our generation misses out on that a bit.
