H is a very happy, laid-back baby. She is pretty agreeable to most things as long as she's fed:) BUT, Homegirl hates her some Uppa Baby Bassinet. I had purchased the rocking stand for it, thinking we'd keep her in it in our room. The longest she ever slept in it was 15 mins before getting fussy. So fine, we started using her crib a lot earlier than expected. The problem is that since we've recently been going on walks in the hood in the UBV, she does the same thing. She starts screaming halfway through, and basically doesn't give a crap that the UBV costs a FORTUNE. She is NOT a fan.
Is there a way to make her like it? Do we just need to put her in it every day and ignore the screaming?
Were you ever able to make your LO like something that initially didn't go over very well?
Does it help if you give her a paci while she's in there? my LO usually passes out with a paci as soon as the stroller starts moving. Or maybe she doesn't like being so flat on her back? Can you put a rolled up towel under the bassinet mattress to elevate one end? Or maybe even a shirt that you've worn/gotten milk on would help comfort her in there. Good luck!
Thankfully we only spent like $60 on it.
